Shirlee Roberts-Downey receives American Advertising Federation Spokane’s highest honor

At the 2026 ADDY Awards of the Spokane chapter of the American Advertising Federation, helveticka’s Shirlee Roberts-Downey was surprised with the night’s top honor – only the eighth Lifetime Achievement Award given in the ad club’s 125-year history.

“This special recognition celebrates an individual whose career reflects lasting impact, leadership, and dedication to the local advertising and marketing industry,” the ADDYs program reads. “This distinction is not awarded annually, but rather reserved for moments when a truly exceptional body of work and contribution calls for recognition.”

Shirlee is truly exceptional, and her contribution goes far beyond the industry. She is an engine and organizer of all kinds of good things in the community, and we are so proud to see her celebrated.
